Lord Chamberlain – Eadwyn – is an officer in charge of managing household, finances, and ceremonies. The Lord Chamberlain is one of the most powerful men of the kingdom. Lord Chamberlain is an important official of the Royal Household. The office is one of considerable political importance and carries cabinet rank. He receives his appointment from the Sovereign in person, and bears a white staff as the emblem and warrant of his authority. He is the first dignitary of the court, a permanent officer, and resides in the palace. He also presides at the daily dinners of the sovereign. He is master of the royal household.
King’s Witan - Merlin
The Witenagemot - The Witenagemot are recognized as the king's closest advisors and policy-makers. They comprised of three to five men the King trusted inexplicably. They would dwell within the Castle; that the King and Queen may consult with them on any matter... and who shall be their counselors whenever required a voice of the people. The Witenagemot would advise on the administration and organization of the kingdom, dealing with issues such as taxation, jurisprudence and both internal and external security. The lead Witan would always travel with the King. It was the Witenagemot who professed once before a warlord and a unifying nation, that “No man can make himself king, but the people has the choice to choose as king whom they please; but after he is consecrated as king, he then has dominion over the people, and they cannot shake his yoke off their necks.” [/i] Arthur had chosen Merlin as his lead Witan, and Merlin’s closest advisors as the nation’s Witenagemot.

Knights - are elite warriors sworn to uphold the values of faith, loyalty, courage, and honor. Mobile mounted warriors made the King’s far-flung conquests possible, and to secure their service, he rewards them with grants of land called benefices. These are given to the captains directly by the King to reward their efforts in the conquests, and they in turn are to grant benefices to their warrior contingents, who are a mix of free and enslaved men. In the reign of Arthur, his newly empowered warrior class grew stronger still, and declared their fiefs to be hereditary.
